After a long period of absence from Radio 4 for reasons I shall not disclose "by chance" I turned it on...and lo and behold what do I get..a music programme in which Simon Rattle reveals that the reason why he entered the music profession was because of Pied Piper which was introduced by David Munrow! Moreover, there was reference to Nicholas Kenyon who helped to "popularise" the latter and his work. Indeed, references to this can be found in the link below..
